Role Model (real name Tucker Pillsbury) has scored his first No. 1 on a songs-based Billboard chart with “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” which tops the Adult Alternative Airplay chart this week. The track also achieved new peaks on Alternative Airplay (No. 3) and Rock & Alternative Airplay (No. 7), and reached No. 17 on the multimetric Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, gaining strong audience impressions while earning 3.1 million official U.S. streams. That surge was due in part to Role Model’s recent performance on NBC’s Today Show, which boosted its digital sales by 298%. This breakthrough comes alongside a resurgence for his debut album, Kansas Anymore, which climbed to No. 10 on the Top Alternative Albums chart in August, and has earned over 280,000 equivalent album units since its 2024 release.
